Cavalli Heatin' It Up!

He may be celebrating 40 years of designing, but cute little ol' Roberto Cavalli is showing his hot, fresh and young side with his Spring 2011 collection. I wish I could wear this collection and rock this fringe. Cavalli's Spring '11 totally fits my aesthetic. It's memorable, youthful, and the tedious work put into each and every piece is obvious.

You'll love the palette - blacks, nudes, greys and lilacs. The collection was embellished with crystals and sequins and some of Cavalli's trademark textures - animal prints. We see a lot more midriff than one normally sees on the high fashion runway, but who doesn't bare it a bit more in the spring and summer? And I dig that Cavalli had my girl Natalia Vodianova walking the runway for him. A collection like this deserves a hot model.

So much amazing fringe I cant even handle it!

MAN I want these pants...

What a whimsical runway. Instead of flowers, Cavalli preferred the shade of oversized leaves for his fringe-laden models.

Do you see a slight 1970s influence here with the fringe and the styling? I do....Cavalli is one Italian designer who isn't afraid to embellish. I think this collection is exquisite. HOT HOT HOT
