Ready to Wear NOW : Galliano for Dior

One of the beautiful and motivating things about fashion is that it is always forward-thinking, always looking ahead and asking the question, "What's next?" It is important, not to get stuck in the past or get stale. But even though the John Galliano for Dior Fall 2010 runway show took place a season ago, I want to look at Fall clothing now... not Spring. I want to layer and look at layers. Can I get an A-men?

My personal favorite clothing combination for the season is mixing my leathers (boots and belts) with my lacey and soft, feminine textures. Galliano did just that with his Fall 2010 Ready to Wear collection for Dior. So let's relive and enjoy what Galliano designed for the Right Now...

Lord knows I love me a good top hat.

There's those thigh-high stockings I hold so dear.

Hi Coco!

J'adore the high neckline.

I really had to limit my captions on these photos. I thought that each look was magical and the styling was spot-on. Runway frizz hair and romantic jazz era makeup... gets me every time. This RTW show totally turned me on and got me excited for Fall. Thanks for the fashion-gasm, Galliano.

If my Jellies have any other great examples of the leather-and-lace look for the season, feel free to share!
