Lizz's Golden Globes Favorite

My favorite 2011 Golden Globes red carpet look this year does not go to the most extravagant look or the most risky look... it goes to the most simple. Simple yet elegant, and on a young star too.

Congratulations Emma Stone - you look amazing.

Stone wore a sherbet-colored minimalist gown from the Calvin Klein Collection. An interesting color choice for a winter event, but I love the low-slung back. She also wore Salvatore Ferragamo peep-toes you can't see and simple Van Cleef & Arpels jewelry. Add Calvin Klein metallic clutch, and [radio announcer voice] We've got a winner.
I'm actually really liking her as a blonde even though I dig her red hair.

Megan Fox's dress seemed to be made of a similar fabric + some sparkle...

Another muted hue, but lovely on her. Gown is Giorgio Armani Prive. Clutch by Roger Vivier and shoes by Brian Atwood with a crystal heel.

If any of you watched the Golden Globes this year, you would have heard the acid tongue of host Ricky Gervais. From Tom Cruise to Mel Gibson and Charlie Sheen, no actor was safe. In fact, many of the presenters and winners had a sarcastic sparkle in their speeches. I say... 'bout time!

I'm just glad that my peeps on GLEE won many an award. Jane Lynch & Chris Colfer - you rock. I'm psyched that Glee airs soon. Anyone know when? I've been parched, desperate for another sing-a-long!

New Countdown: 2 Days until my BIRTHDAY
