A Wedding Across The Pond

I'm sorry - I have to do it. I so loved all the great hats at the Royal Wedding! In fact, I love them so much that I wore my veiled top hat to work today in commemoration of the new Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. You're welcome, Kate and William...

Everyone was speculating (and when I say 'everyone', I mean too many media organizations) on the kind of dress Kate would wear, whether she'd wear a tiara, etc. I knew she'd do me proud. And she did...

Side note:  is it weird that Kate's sister Pippa wore pretty much a less intense wedding gown? Or is that how they do it over there?

And now for the fabulous hats! It's like the Kentucky Derby only with a different accent...

Hi Beckhams! Posh, I'm diggin the hat and heels. (I don't care what anyone says, I love this lady)

Ah! and what a fabulous beige hat on the Princess Beatrice of York! Also a great floofy number worn by Princess Eugenie of York.

Tara Palmer-Tomkinson wearing a crazy blue hat that reminds me of a... well... if you watched Anchorman then you'll understand when I say it looks like Ron's German translation of "San Diago".

Happy British Royal Wedding Day, Americans!

  1. It is apparently customary in Britian for the bridesmaid to wear a dress similar in color to the bride. Who knew?

  2. I love your coverage on the Royal Wedding hats! Haha I think they are a bit hideous… although Victoria's is pretty posh!
