Bright Like a Diamond

It's summa' summa' summertime! And I can't stop thinking about adding bright, fun colors to my wardrobe. After perusing my image library for inspiration, these spreads caught my sunglass-shaded eyes...

From Grazia Italy magazine :

"City Slickers" for Fashion Gone Rogue:

And my inspiration for exercising, superhottie Candice Swanepoel for Vogue Australia:

What is your favorite color trend for the summer?

Texas Adventures

Hello all! The Hubby and I are back from our trip to Texas, and how amazing it was to see our families and as many friends as we could squeeze in. I could have stayed another 2 weeks!

Among many other adventures, there was karaoke singing with friends...

Snuggling with some of my favorite canines...

And the wedding? I had so much fun as a bridesmaid for my friend Taylor. She was such a beautiful bride:

I made their 'Mr and Mrs' toasting glasses. Cheers!

And I got to goof around with my old work pals!

We even released wish lanterns for good luck :

~ Congratulations Taylor & Kevin ~
May your life together be sweet and may the adventures never stop!

Texas Tour

Hey y'all ~ This girl and her hubby are taking a much needed vacation... to the Lone Star State!

That's right, we're going home to visit our friends and family in Texas. We'll be hitting up Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, and I will have the grand pleasure of being a bridesmaid in the wedding of this crazy girl:

Taylor (right) and me at a Ke$ha concert circa 2011.

So stay tuned for fab photos from our Tejano adventures...

Fun with Flora

Art comes in many forms. I discovered the work of two photographers who like to play with their food and fixate on flowers.

For Plaza magazine, photographer Philip Karlberg:

And Exploded Flowers by photographer Fong Qi Wei:

Who knew a flower could be just as pretty in pieces?

Metropolitan Punk

At first glance of the Met Ball 2013, you might say to yourself, "What is wrong with everybody? Is snorting cocaine trendy again?" But then everything makes sense once you know that the celebs are embracing this year's exhibition theme: Punk | Chaos to Couture.

Here are the red carpet looks that turned my head - most in a good way, some in a WTF way...

Nicole Richie

Anne Hathaway

Christina Ricci

Cara DeLevingne

Elle Fanning

Kate Bosworth

Giovanna Battaglia

Kristen Stewart

Kim Kardashian

Katy Perry (she's got my vote)

Madonna (too literal, Madge)

Miley Cyrus

 And finally, Sarah Jessica Parker

So who stole your heart with their red carpet look?
