Now that Christmas has come and gone (boohoo!), I turn my attention to New Year's Eve. This stunning GQ Germany photo spread featuring Aussie singer Kylie Minogue has all the glitz and glam of NYE soirees. So I had to share - photography by Ellen von Unwerth:
I'd love to know: what are you wearing to ring in the new year?
Stuck on what to get someone for Christmas? Checking everyone off your list can be a tad stressful. I like to pick out a couple meaningful, personal stocking stuffers if I can't arrive at one big gift for someone special. I curated a collection of unique small gifts that the 'hard to buy for' girlfriend or loved one didn't even know they wanted!

I'm one of those girls who hasn't outgrown her love of fairy tales. I may never outgrow them! So I became enchanted by a Chris Nicholls photo spread found in the December issue of Fashion Magazine. It features modern twists on classic fairy tales: Little Bo Peep, The Princess and the Pea, Goldilocks and the Three Bears, Little Miss Muffet, Rumpelstiltskin, Three Little Pigs, and others. Enjoy :
With clothes like those, each heroine certainly lived happily ever after...
This sensational time of year means holiday parties galore! For such events, I styled three looks featuring glitz and glam. For a winter soiree, you can wear bling anywhere - jewelry, clothing, handbags, hair accessories, shoes. I like to pile on the gems if my wardrobe is simple, or go lowkey on the jewelry if I'm wearing a busy outfit. Enjoy my glittery stylings: an office-friendly look, a trendy look, and a sexy holiday look.
Sometimes I forget my good camera at home (all the time). Sometimes I can't figure out why my good camera is only taking blurry, low-res photos (just read the damn manual, Lizz). But my iPhone is always there for me. A peek into my iPhone gallery as of late:

One of the things I relished about watching episodes of Sex & the City was how Carrie had such over-the-top street style. Her daytime 'running about town' clothes were usually comprised of a designer piece, a piece with character (sometimes bizarre), and always fabulous footwear. Remember the season Carrie wore a huge flower pinned to every outfit?
This Elle Italia magazine spread from its December issue felt reminiscent of that effervescent Carrie Bradshaw style. Photographed by Drew Jarret, styled by Sofia Odero, and featuring VS model Lindsay Ellingson in 'Cocktail Dress'.
