Barcelona, Spain: a colorful, vibrant city with a rich culture and spectacular architecture. I had never been to Spain until this summer; and it was certainly an unforgettable trip. Some photos from our adventures there:

Our hotel - the Renaissance Barcelona Fira - was by far the coolest hotel I've ever seen. It was like the jungle took over a sexy high rise apartment.

On a tour, we visited several sites from the 1992 Barcelona Summer Olympic Games.

Park Güell by Antoni Gaudí

Casa Batlló (above) by Gaudí, and an early fountain work of his.

Barcelona's Arc de Triompf

My cute mama-in-law.

Every day exploring Barcelona was different than the one before. There was so much to do and see (and eat and smell and shop for), we have to plan a return trip to finish the to-do list.
We are blessed to have enjoyed such a life-changing vacation!
